Patrick MartellGroup Chief Operating Officer and Informa Markets Chief Executive

Patrick has significant experience of B2B markets and a track record of leading businesses through digital transformation and mergers and acquisitions.

He joined Informa in 2014 as Chief Executive of Informa Intelligence, leading its return to growth through technology and product investments and operational efficiency.

He took on the newly created role of Group Chief Operating Officer in 2018 following the acquisition of UBM. After the successful divestment of Informa Intelligence in 2022, Patrick became Chief Executive of Informa Markets in 2023.

Before Informa, Patrick was Group CEO of St Ives where he led its successful restructuring and repositioning.

Patrick was the Senior Independent Director and Remuneration Committee Chair at RM plc until the end of December 2023.
