Popular and highly sought after categories this year include the Broadband Home Award, Broadband Cloud Award, Broadband Access Award – Wireless and Broadband Access Award – Fixed. This year the Best Broadband Experience Award will also shed light on exciting developments, products and services emerging in the industry.

Two brand new categories have also been introduced to the line-up encompassing: Outstanding Contribution to Driving Greater Broadband Penetration and Best Service Innovation with SuperFast Broadband Networks.

The 2013 Broadband InfoVision Awards are judged by an independent expert panel including influential figures from: UN Broadband Commission; Amsterdam Internet Exchange; BSkyB; BT Openreach; Deutsche Telekom; KT, Korea; PCCW, Hong Kong; and Telstra, Australia. This impressive panel of industry figureheads demonstrates the high level nature and significance of this awards ceremony and winning is one of the most highly sought after accolades in the industry.

“The Broadband InfoVision Awards are an esteemed endorsement of the impressive and significant work carried out in the broadband ecosystem today,” said Gavin Whitechurch, Executive Director at Informa Telecoms & Media. “Great strides are being taken by the market’s innovators which are essential to the future development and success of broadband, and it’s important that we celebrate the accomplishments of those on our shortlist, so that they receive the recognition they deserve.”

2013 will witness the relocation of the awards to The PompStation, Amsterdam, on Wednesday 23 October 2013. The new venue reflects the change in format for the awards to a relaxed VIP networking party, which will present attendees with unique networking opportunities amongst the industry elite.
