Michael has worked in the exhibitions industry for over 30 years, across many geographies, particularly in Asia, using Hong Kong as his base. He joined the business in 1994 and has worked in various leadership roles, focused on building up the company’s presence in Asia, the Middle East and Africa, as well as overseeing Informa Markets’ Cruise and Beauty verticals in the United States. Michael is Treasurer of UFI, the global exhibitions industry body, and founded and chaired the Asia, Middle East and Africa and Sustainability chapters. Previously he was Trading Director for the Vestey Group businesses in Hong Kong and lived and worked for them in New Zealand, Australia, Italy and Greece.
