2014: Equity Placing
Informa carried out an Equity Placing in November 2014 to fund the acquisition of Hanley Wood Exhibitions and pay down debt.
45,000,000 new ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each were placed on 18 November 2014, with a price per Placing Share of £4.60.
The gross proceeds were approximately £207 million and were used to fund the acquisition of Hanley Wood Exhibitions, with net proceeds used to pay down debt and provide additional financial flexibility for the execution of the Growth Acceleration Plan strategy.
