As Managing Director of the Australian Informa Connect and as well as overseeing the Singapore Connect business, Spiro oversees conference and exhibition brands serving a variety of audiences in Mining, Energy, Finance, Health, Life Sciences, Rail, Maritime and Education.
Connect have several third party deals and run approximately 80 events in Australia and 30+ in Singapore annually. This includes anything from a small training course or a full scale trade exhibition to large scale content and partnering conferences. Australian by birth of Greek origin, Spiro travels almost annually to Greece and has been with the company for over 22 years.
