As Managing Director of Informa Connect’s Global Finance vertical, Julian Kirby has built a strong portfolio of events, media and financial intelligence products that are revered and renowned throughout the Global Finance industry.
With a 300+ strong team of high achievers, market leading brands including SuperReturn, IM Power, Finovate, WealthManagement.com and Inside ETFs, delight audiences across the U.S, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. IGM and Zephyr, financial data businesses formerly part of Informa Intelligence, transitioned under Julian’s management in 2022, further diversifying and strengthening the Global Finance portfolio.
Julian has spent his whole professional career to date at Informa, joining as a Conference Producer in 1998. Julian has particular strengths in business strategy, product innovation, maximising commercial opportunities and driving business efficiency.
Prior to joining Informa, Julian held a graduate teaching position at the University of Westminster whilst studying for a PhD in American Politics. He is also a proud advocate of Mental Health awareness.
