Informa Brands Win 13 Prestigious US B2B Journalism Awards
Informa’s brands and journalists won 13 awards at the 2025 Jesse H. Neal Awards, which recognise editorial excellence in business media. The wins span multiple formats – including commentary, news coverage, podcasts, special reports and profiles – serving audiences in five different markets, demonstrating a diversity of outstanding editorial quality.
Of the 13 awards, eight were won by foodservice brand Restaurant Business, including the standout achievement of Best Range of Work by a Media Brand.
Informa’s 2025 Neal Award wins are:

- Best Technical/Scientific Content: Restaurant Business
- Best Commentary (Brand revenue $3-$7m): Jonathan Maze, Restaurant Business
- Best Range of Work by a Single Author: Lisa Jennings, Restaurant Business
- Best Profile: Restaurant Business

Jonathan is one of three Informa journalists who took home an individual award, winning Best Commentary for his piece on the lessons learned from the story of burrito chain Baja Fresh. Amanda Pedersen at MD+DI also won in the Best Commentary category for her long running column Pedersen’s POV. Lisa Jennings at Restaurant Business was recognised for Best Range of Work by a Single Author for her work throughout the year.
WealthManagement.com won for its mental health and wellbeing podcast The Healthy Advisor. Executive Editor, Diana Britton, said: “I’m honored to see The Healthy Advisor recognized by the Neal Awards. When launching this podcast six years ago, the vision was to bring personal development and mental health issues facing the wealth management community to the forefront. But I could not have imagined the impact it has had on the industry. This award is a testament to that.”
