Alex Simm is Chief Financial Officer at Informa Markets. Alex joined the business 12 years ago as part of the Group Mergers and Acquisitions team, completing over 100 transactions and integrations across six continents. After six years in M&A, Alex moved into the divisions to serve as CFO of some of Informa Markets’ fastest growing brands, including Natural Products, CPhI and Vitafoods, among others. He graduated from Oxford University with a master’s in Psychology, and qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG’s audit and corporate finance practices. With a diverse background in strategy and organisational planning, Alex plays a central role in designing and implementing commercial objectives.
