Digital Home World Summit attracts high level speakers

Informa Telecoms & Media is looking forward to the high end discussion taking place at the Digital Home World Summit from 19-20 June 2012 in London. The event will focus on 'Leveraging IP Infrastructure to Develop the New 5th Play,' gaming, apps and video, energy management, future technologies as well as monetising the digital home hub.

With new speakers just confirmed including Sasa Kramar, CEO at Iskon Internet, and Neil Wardrop, User Experience Strategist at Channel 4, as well as previously confirmed speakers from Turkcell, Orange Healthcare, E.ON AG, BT, SONY, Ucom, Swisscom plus many more, this year's speaker line-up is the show's most high level and globally diverse to date.

Kamelija Stefanova, Senior Conference Researcher at Informa Telecoms & Media and producer of this event said, "For this year's event we have focussed on getting a really high level speaker line-up from a wide range of leading service provider companies. We will cover issues from 5th play services for operators (energy management, healthcare, security, etc.), connectivity and interoperability between devices in the home, shifting of media content (large files of data) across different platforms inside the home in an interactive agenda for our attendees to learn from. Interesting case studies will be included to give our audience ideas on growing revenues, deepen discussions about the challenges surrounding the connected home uptake and define what needs to be done in order to increase the penetration of connected devices in the home."

With twice as many delegates already registered for the event than last year, and with major support from key industry players such as ACCESS, Jungo, Twonky, F-Secure, ABOX42, Smart Design and Sigma Designs, Digital Home World Summit is guaranteed to secure its place as the top Digital Home event in the industry.

Plus new features including the Pre-Conference Workshop on 18 June hosted by Informa Telecoms & Media Analysts Giles Cottle and Andrew Ladbrook and the Breakfast Briefings on the morning of the 20 June hosted by Parks Associates and The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) provide more value for money and new ways to learn at the event.
