In July the Routledge Sport and Leisure list will be publishing the first volume of a definitive two volume scholarly account of the London Olympics – Handbook of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games – which will tell the full story from bid to delivery to the post-Games legacy.   Both volumes will carry the official 2012 Olympic and Paralympic logos and will form part of an official publishing programme that is broader in scope and ambition than for any previous Olympics.  The project also represents a centrepiece of Routledge’s own publishing programme in Olympic Studies, alongside its innovative new on-line research platform, Routledge Online Studies on the Olympic and Paralympic Games.   In what promises to be a year of unprecedented sporting drama in the UK, Routledge is proud to be in the thick of the action!
