Biography:
Age 47
John Davis has been Chief Financial Officer of Yell Group plc since 2000. He previously held senior positions within Pearson Plc, where he was latterly Group Finance Director of the FT Group, and Emap plc, which he joined in 1989, where he was Director of Corporate Finance and Treasury between 1995 and 1997.
John Davis is a Chartered Accountant, having qualified at Price Waterhouse and has a Masters in Management from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He was appointed as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 October 2005. He chairs the Nomination Committee and is a member of the Audit Committee. He was also appointed as a member of the Remuneration Committee on 8 May 2009.
