The annual survey, undertaken by the IIAR and based on responses from 116 analyst relations professionals, also ranks Mitchell the runner up Analyst of the Year (both in the US and globally) and one of the top software analysts of the year globally. Mitchell was "praised for his in-depth coverage of the software market and his independent opinion."
Commenting on his award, David Mitchell said: "Being recognised for the work we do with our customers is a great honour, and that's what the IIAR recognition represents - the views of an important group of our customers."
