Lloyd's MIU Launches Two New AIS Products
Following strong market demand for its world-leading AIS service Lloyd’s MIU has launched AIS Lite and AIS Free.
AIS Lite provides access to the largest AIS network in the world. With over 418 AIS receivers deployed across 100 countries AIS Lite has live coverage of over 6,900 ports and terminals. Publishing over a billion AIS positions per month, from 60,000 vessels, the service provides a live window on the world’s trading fleet. With an intuitive interface and interactive viewing options, AIS Lite is competitively priced at £650.
AIS Free provides free access to clients who are happy with a smaller number of ports and time-delayed data.
Earlier this year Lloyd's MIU launched AIS Fleet, giving ship owner/managers private access to their fleet positions in real-time, whether the vessels are near the coast or out in blue water. Since it's launch, owner/managers have been replacing their fleet management solution for the cheaper one provided by Lloyd's MIU.
