Environment
As a leading international publisher, our influence over environmental issues is considerable. Our CR policies will ensure best-practice environmental initiatives throughout the business. How we use paper, energy, heat, light and power, as well as how we recycle waste, are all very important and can make a significant difference (and can also reduce organisational costs).
These subjects are now under discussion through committed steering groups, which will take the messages to all local offices. The company and our employees are keen to make their mark. Internal and external CR successes and good practices will be reported via our Intranet to ensure employees can discover, use and promote new environmentally-friendly schemes in their own place of work.
