Redomicile
On 1 May 2009 Informa plc announced details of a Court sanctioned Scheme of Arrangement to change the Group’s corporate structure by putting in place a new parent company for the Informa Group. The new parent company is incorporated in Jersey, domiciled in Switzerland and is listed on the London Stock Exchange.
On 2 June 2009, Informa’s shareholders approved the Court sanctioned Scheme of Arrangement and on 30 June 2009, the new parent company (also named Informa plc) was admitted to the Official List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange’s main market for listed securities. The new parent company replaced the old parent company as a member of the FTSE 250 index.
