This is a rare opportunity to take on a senior leadership position within a market-leading consumer insights business. You will oversee the delivery of all content streams, ensuring that they are of the highest possible quality, as well leading and developing a team of high calibre analysts.

The Consumer team produces relevant, up-to-date insights on the international FMCG markets, spanning leading brands such as PackTrack, CPG and Product Launch Analytics. The successful candidate will lead a successful, expanding global team, and oversee the ongoing development of their research strategies and content portfolios for 2012 and beyond. 

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing the content programmes of the Consumer Division, including the business intelligence products and services across Consumer Insights and Trends, Innovation and New Product Development, Market Sizing and Opportunity Identification.
  • Drive product and service strategy and implementation, with a focus on aligning our products and services closely to client needs and delivering high quality, niche and timely business intelligence.
  • Oversee the ongoing professional development of your team of analysts, in the UK and internationally, in order to enable them to create even more insightful analysis and must-have products.

Marketing Executive- exciting strategic role

Informa is looking for a commercially minded Marketing Executive to join our Commodities and Consumer business.  Focused on marketing the Commodities portfolio of market intelligence products, you will gain a breadth of experiences and the opportunity to develop your skills within a vibrant and challenging environment. This is the ideal opportunity for a Marketing Assistant who has grounded their experience in campaign management, to step up and take on a more strategic role, getting involved in marketing planning across the full marketing communications mix.  

The Marketing Executive will be responsible for developing the marketing strategy for a set portfolio of products within the commodities division of Informa, planning all campaigns from direct marketing, online and social media activity, briefing an internal team on implementation of these campaigns.  This role will give you the ability to step up and take ownership of acquisition, retention activity as well as provide support for our Key Accounts teams that sell single copy and subscriptions access to our market leading intelligence products.

Sponsorship Sales Executive/ Manager

The Sponsorship and Exhibition Sales Executive will have ownership of a portfolio of at least 15 global conferences including at least 1 Large Scale Event. The events will be a mix of established repeat events as well as new topics in developing markets.

Informa Agra is a specialized conference business with 30+ annual events. Event topics cover a variety of industries within the Food, Commodity, Agriculture and Biofuel Sectors. Many of these topics are complex and highly technical in areas such as bio-packaging,renewable chemicals and food technology.  

Requirements:

  • Consultative sales experience in Food, Commodity, Agriculture and Biofuel Sectors
  • Proven success in a sales role dealing with senior directors for multi-national corporations such as Cargill, Coca Cola, Shell.
  • Use of multi-media to maximize opportunities with potential clients, face to face, telephone, social media etc etc.
  • Experience of developing a global client base, including in Europe, Latin America and Asia
  • Account management, with the ability to advise and persuade senior decision-makers and develop client-specific creative marketing solutions.
  • Ability to work on up to 7 different products at any one time.
  • Experience at managing marketing, logistics and customer services deliverables.
  • On site event management.
  • Prior experience in selling conference sponsorship is essential.
  • Ability to contribute to the strategic direction of the team, identifying new target markets and new conference topic areas.
